    Congratulations! You have achieved your first milestone. From the age of 1 to 3 years, your child enjoys his toddlerhood. It is the best learning phase of one’s life. Children learn how to speak, play, learn, behave, express, jump , sit, run and many more. Toddlers explore his world by developing communication, social, emotional, thinking and reasoning skills. Toddlers are more active than babies. 

    There is rapid increase in the brain power of toddler between the ages of 2 and 3. You can find improvements in the way they think and learn new things. This gives them new way to explore, play and express their emotions. The best way to develop your toddler’s brain is play. Play involves games, dance, talk, Sing and engagement of your child in day-to-day activities.

    Apart from brain development physical fitness plays important role in overall fitness of your child. Activities like dancing, jumping, walking, swimming, playground time, crawling make your child physically fit. Let your child be engaged in all activities to boost mental and physical fitness.

Some milestones to be achieved during toddlerhood:

  • Stand and sit by own.
  • Speak basic words like Mama, Papa.
  • Cry when mommy is not with him.
  • Repeat after you.
  • Copy your activities.
  • Shake hands.
  • Hold objects.
  • Recognize objects correctly.

  • Express emotions.
  • Play games like hide and seek, Pat-A- cake and Peek a Boo.
  • Arrange objects or toys by their shape or color.
  • Follow your instructions.
  • React to strangers.
  • Perform hand movements to say “Hello” and “Goodbye”.
  • Enjoy the music.
